About Arcutis

We founded Arcutis with a mission to challenge the status quo in medical dermatology and address the needs that matter most to individuals living with chronic skin conditions and the healthcare providers that treat them. After more than a decade, that mission continues to drive our commitment to delivering meaningful innovation.

Our first topical cream was formulated in a basement laboratory by one of our co-founders, David Osborne, PhD, who was also the first Arcutis employee and first Chief Technical Officer!

Our first Investigational New Drug (IND) application to the FDA – setting us on the path to bring our topical therapy to people who need it and allowing us to begin clinical trials.

The first individual was enrolled in our first-in-human clinical trial for plaque psoriasis.

The Arcutis Operating Principles were born from the foundation we built on ethical and cultural standards – so we decided to use them as a guide to shape the growth of our thriving new company.

We emerged from stealth and launched Arcutis Inc. – with humble beginnings in the original headquarters in Westlake Village, CA.

We announced the close of our initial public offering and began trading on The Nasdaq Global Select Market under the symbol “ARQT” – representing a major growth moment for our company.

Marked Arcutis’ first-ever FDA approval and the start of our treatment portfolio for individuals with chronic inflammatory skin conditions. Our first topical cream was approved for plaque psoriasis for patients 12 years of age and older and launched in August 2022.

The FDA approved an expanded indication for our topical cream to children ages 6 to 11 living with plaque psoriasis.

Our second FDA approval of our topical foam was the first product with a new mechanism of action for seborrheic dermatitis in two decades.

The FDA approved our topical cream for the treatment of atopic dermatitis in adults and children down to 6 years of age.

Our topical cream received Glamour’s 2024 Health and Wellness award.

The FDA approved our topical foam for the treatment of scalp and body psoriasis in adults and adolescents 12 and older.

We surpassed 1 million prescriptions for our topical cream and foam.

The National Psoriasis Foundation awarded their Seal of Recognition to our topical foam and cream for the treatment of plaque psoriasis.

The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) issued a strong recommendation for the use of our topical cream in adults with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis.

Our advanced targeted topical cream and foam formulations were honored by Allure Magazine with the prestigious Best of Beauty Breakthrough Award.

The FDA approved our topical cream for the treatment of atopic dermatitis in children ages 2 to 5.

Arcutis produced positive operating cash flow in Q4 2025 based on multiple product launches in 2025 and strong demand for our advanced targeted topicals.

The first participant was enrolled in our clinical trial evaluating ARQ-234, a novel biologic in development for the treatment of moderate to severe atopic dermatitis.

The American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) issued a strong recommendation for our topical cream for individuals as young as 2 with mild to moderate atopic dermatitis from the AAD’s first-ever pediatric atopic dermatitis guidelines.

We celebrated 10 years of Arcutis since founding in 2016, fueled by an amazing team, countless accomplishments and most importantly, driving meaningful innovation for the millions of people living with chronic inflammatory skin diseases.

Our seventh FDA approval extended our targeted topical cream to children with plaque psoriasis down to age 2.
