Vice President, Alliance and Program Management

Mr Clark is vice president of alliance and program management. Before Arcutis, Mr Clark was the head of program management at Kite Pharma, where he managed the Yescarta® Product & Filing Teams culminating in its BLA being filed 27 months from IND submission. He also built out Kite’s program management capabilities – supervising a team of PMs responsible for Kite’s cell therapy portfolio and collaborations. Prior to Kite, Mr Clark was a global program manager at Amgen where he managed the programs for multiple products and mid-stage programs, as well as developed Amgen’s R&D alliance management capability. He also led the cross-functional coordination of Amgen’s strategic (re)entry into Japan, China and the rest of Asia, including supporting regional business development activities and the integration of in-licensed assets in the region. Mr Clark started his career as a pharmacist in medical dispensaries in southern Ontario and led projects for multiple contract pharmaceutical development services. Mr Clark earned a bachelor’s degree in pharmacy from the University of Toronto and an MBA from McMaster University in Hamilton.
