Steve Arias

Vice President of Compliance

Steve Arias joined Arcutis in September 2025 as vice president of compliance, where he leads the company’s compliance strategy and initiatives. He brings over a decade of pharmaceutical industry compliance experience, with a focus on supporting commercial and medical business partners. Prior to Arcutis, Mr Arias served as vice president of ethics and compliance at Thea Pharma Inc, where he built the company’s compliance program and oversaw commercial operations. Earlier, he held compliance leadership roles of increasing responsibility at Kala Pharmaceuticals, Foundation Medicine, Sage Therapeutics, and Ironwood Pharmaceuticals, and also worked as a consultant with Polaris Management Partners. Mr Arias holds a master of liberal arts with a concentration in finance from Harvard University Extension School, and a bachelor of science in biology & society from Cornell University.
